Abstract
Meidum is considered one of the most important historical places in Benisuef governorate, It possess a number of important archeological sites However, this area lacks any kind of tourism development. So, this paper aims at:
1- Highlighting the area's historical background,
2- Discussing the area's challenges in relation to being a tourism site available for both local and international tourists,
3- Suggesting a suitable strategy for developing the area;
4- Preparing programs to visit the area.
