| Abstract | ||
| This paper recorded the presence of Phenacoccus madeirensis Green as a new record of mealybug in Egypt. Genus Phenacoccus is represented by 5 species in Egypt. The official list of scale insects and mealybugs listed P. gypsophilae Hall, P. halli Ezzat and P. pyramidensis Ezzat (Mohamed and Ghabbour, 2008); Abd-Rabou added two new species P. parvus Morrison and P. solenopsis Tinsley (Abd-Rabou et al., 2010). Phenacoccus madeirensis was the sixth species added to the fauna. | ||
