Abstract | ||
This paper, presents an improved algorithm for the conformal finite-difference time-domain. Locally distorted conformal FDTD griding methods are based on a regular orthogonal grid, with the exception that grid is deformed in the near vicinity of boundary interface. It is based on the concept of weighted-volume effective dielectric constant. It models an arbitrarily shaped dielectric objects. Modeling the cylindrical dielectric resonator shows the accuracy and usefulness of the method. | ||
