Abstract | ||||
The aim of this study is to design a training program to develop the skills of creative thinking in problem solving by university library librarian. This program seeks to meet the needs of the Saudi university libraries. It aims to provide the Saudi university library librarian with the mental, behavioral and technical skills required for the success of creative thinking in problem solving. in the Library. The study adopted the Delphi method as the most appropriate way to achieve the objectives of the study and to draw on the views of experts and specialists in the proposed program. The most important findings of the study are the agreement on the components of the proposed training program to develop the skills of creative thinking in solving problems in the university library specialists in terms of: The overall objective of the program, its detailed objectives, the outputs of the program, the target groups of the program, the number of members of the group proposed in the program, the admission requirements of the program, the duration of the program, the training supervisors supervising its implementation. Program trainers, proposed training methods and methods, tools for evaluating the training program, in addition to the materials and hours of the training program in detail. | ||||
