Abstract | ||
The aerial parts of Haplophyllum tuberculatum (Forssk) A. Juss grown in Egypt yielded three lignans named as kusunokinin, chaerophyllin (I), justicidin A as well as an alkaloid, 7-isopentenyloxy-8-fagarine which is reported here for the first time from H. tuberculatum., while compd. I is reported for the first time from the genus haplophyllum. The structure elucidation of the isolated compds. are based on spectroscopic methods including 1D-and 2D-NMR spectra | ||
