Abstract | ||||
The main objective of this study was to determine the farmers knowledge level of integrated pest management techniques of sugar beet crop, to determine the correlation and percentage of contribution between the respondents knowledge degree of this techniques and some independent variables, to determine the respondents resources of these practices, their suitable integrated pest management techniques of sugar beet, finally identify the most important problems facing them during using this techniques. This study was conducted at Maghagha, Abu Qerqas, and Mallawi districts, El-Minia governorate which were chosen randomly from area cultivated sugar beet crop, then three villages chosen (one village from each district) i.e.: El-Bahnasa, Grease and Tanda from the studied districts. Data were collected during May 2017, and using questionnaire with 154 respondents, frequency tables, percentages, rang, mean, standard deviation, simple correlation coefficient of Person, chi square, contingency coefficient, and multiple regression analysis (step–wise), were used to present and analyzing data statistically. | ||||
