Abstract | ||||
The research aimed at estimating the economic effects of the establishment and formation of water user associations on the developed courses. Through the study of indicators of economic and productive efficiency of the use of irrigation water for wheat crop outside and within the water user associations in SharkiaGovernorate. The research was based on two main sources of data: the data from the questionnaire.the secondary data published in the different agencies.and the descriptive and quantitative methods were used in analyzing the study data and presenting the results.the most important of which were the following: That wheat farmers have achieved a total income of 11472.49. 13424.14 pounds/fed outside the links.and within the water links respectively. While the total production costs of wheat fed were the lowest in the agriculture of the ties and then out of the ties at a value of 8584.01. 8989.23 pounds/fed.Respectively. Thus increasing the net yield of the wheat feddan within the external links by 2356.87 pounds/fed.where the net yield of the wheat feddan within the bonds was estimated at 4840.14 pounds/feddan and outside the bonds 2483.27 pounds/feddan. Water user associations have been shown to increase total revenue.reduce costs and increase net revenue. Which emphasizes the importance of irrigation development projects and expansion where available to achieve this expansion. | ||||
