| Abstract | ||||
| Many eras have flourished in Egypt that affected and were influenced by the history and civilization of the ancient Egyptians. The Ayyubid era began in 1171, when Nur al-Din sent an army led by Assad al-Din Shirkuh, who won a great victory. As for the conditions of the Copts in the Ayyubid era, history confirms that at first the Copts were expelled from the bureaus and imposed a special costume on them, but Sultan Salahuddin soon saw that he could not dispense with the Copts in the college, and many of them responded to the government service and the administration of the bureaus until he took him as a writer Coptic from the "Sharafi" family. The role of the Coptic scholars was noticeably noticeable in the Ayyubid dynasty, whose rule spanned only eighty years (1171-1250), among which the most important were the children of Al-Asal, Ibn Al-Makeen, Ibn Kateb Qaisar, Sheikh Al-Makeen Abu Al-Barakat, Rashid Abu Al-Khair Bin Al-Tayeb, Pope Kyrillos III and others in Different sciences from medical, astronomical, judicial, linguistic, religious, and other sciences. Therefore, this research aims to show and highlight the role of these scholars under the rule of the Ayyubid state, where, despite the short period, it is full of social, political and cultural events and is considered one of the most prosperous scientific ages through its scientists whose works are still attesting to them until now, while highlighting the role of science as a Coptic heritage Material or material, has its own importance. | ||||
