Abstract | ||||
A Suggested proposal for the Development of the History Curriculum of the first Grade secondary students in light of the Sustainable Development strategy "Vision of Egypt 2030" and its Impact on the Development of Citizenship. The aim of the research is to prepare a suggested proposal for the development of the history curriculum for the first grade students in the light of the vision of Egypt 2030, and to identify its impact on the development of the values of citizenship among the students. To achieve this, the researcher prepared a list of educational principles included in the vision of Egypt 2030, the curriculum of history for the first secondary grade in the light of these educational principles, and a scale of the values of citizenship for students in the first grade secondary. The research used a descriptive approach to the history curriculum in the first secondary grade in the light of the vision of Egypt 2030, including the foundations, objectives, content, teaching methods, methods, educational activities and evaluation methods. The sample consisted of (44) students of the first grade secondary in the academic year 2018 / 2019. The results of the study showed that there was a statistically significant difference at (0.05) between the average scores of the students of the research group in the pre and post applications of the citizenship values scale in favor of the post application. The results also showed a significant impact of the proposed scenario in the teaching of history and the development of the values of citizenship among the students of the research group, The study ended with a number of recommendations, the most important of which is the need to develop the curriculum of history, teaching methods and learning in the first secondary grade in view of the proposed vision to achieve the objectives of the strategy of sustainable development, "Vision of Egypt 2030." and to hold training courses for curriculum planners to train them in planning the curriculum in light of the principles and the development of teachers' teaching practices to develop the values of citizenship for their students | ||||
