Abstract | ||||
The main purpose of the research was to determine the level of inclusion of future thinking skills and environmental values in the geography curriculum of the first secondary grade, and Preparation a proposed of the geography curriculum in view of both skills and values. To achieve this: the research used the analytical descriptive approach in: Preparation of Theoretical framework, research tools: lists of future thinking skills, environmental values Which should be included in the geography curriculum for the first grade secondary; and analysis of the geography curriculum for the first grade secondary for the 2017-2018 academic year the research sample consisted of The objectives of the curriculum, its content, strategies, activities, sources, styles and tools of evaluating. The Stability of Content Analysis was (0.9ٓ ) for future thinking skills and (0.89) for the environmental values by using the Holisti equation. The results indicated that Weak inclusion of future thinking skills, and environmental values in the geography curriculum of the first grade secondary, where it has not reached the acceptable level (70%), and according to that the research ensures Support the inclusion of both future thinking skills and environmental values when planning geography curricula at all levels of learning, and suggest that Procedure More in-depth research on their effectiveness in improving learners' thinking in order to prepare for the future and it’s challenges. | ||||
