| Abstract | ||||
| THE PRESENT work describes details concerning preparation and ….. physico-chemical characterization of pozzolanic cement pastes . The prepared cement pastes were examined by using XRD, SEM and nitrogen adsorption at-196oC. The results revealed that the physicochemical and mechanical properties of the solids investigated could be related to the microstructure and surface properties of the hardened pozzolanic cement pastes. It was found that the pozzolanic cement blend containing 20% Homera has the highest to fire resistance | ||||
