موقف الولایات المتحدة من انقلابی الشیشکلی فی سوریا 1949- 1954 فی الانقلاب الأول الذی نفذه أدیب الشیشکلی فی التاسع عشر من کانون الأول سنة 1949 جرى الحدیث أنه جاء بتأثیر وبتدخل خارجی، وأنه جاء فی إطار الصراع والتنافس على سوریا، وأن القول بذلک جاء نتیجة أن الانقلاب وفر للولایات المتحدة فرصة أن تصبح صاحبة القوة والتأثیر، وأنها وجهت ضربة لمصالح بریطانیا التی کانت تعمل لتحقیق الاتحاد بین سوریا والعراق فی عهد سامی الحناوی، إذ أن سیطرة بریطانیا على خطوط نقل النفط المتجهة إلى البحر المتوسط یضر بمصالح الولایات المتحدة. لذلک فإن الولایات المتحدة کانت قلقة على مشروع التابلاین فی سیاسة سامی الحناوی، وأیضًا قلقة من تساهلها مع الشیوعیین، وأن تأییدها للهاشمیین یجعلها غیر ملائمة للمصالح الأمریکیة، لذلک من خلال البحث تأکد عدم وجود دلیل واضح على دور مباشر للولایات المتحدة فی انقلاب الشیشکلی، وإنما تصرف بمفردة لکنه کان یدرک أن الولایات المتحدة ستؤیده، وستنظر بعین الرضا والقبول إلى انقلابه، فضلاً عن ذلک أن الذین یرجحون تدخل وتأیید الولایات المتحدة لانقلاب الشیشکلی یبنون تصوراتهم على تطور العلاقات الأمریکیة السوریة فی ظل حکومة الشیشکلی من خلال رفع التمثیل الدبلوماسی وفسح المجال للتعاون الاقتصادی وعقد الاتفاقیات بین البلدین، وجرى الحدیث عن المساعدات الاقتصادیة والعسکریة. وعلى الرغم من کل ذلک؛ فإن العقید الشیشکلی منخرط ومؤید للسیاسة الأمریکیة ویسعى للحصول على تأییدها ومساعدتها، إلا أن هناک هواجس وخوف وعراقیل تقف أمام ذلک، ولعل الانحیاز الأمریکی لإسرائیل کان مسألة تثیر قلق واستیاء السوریین، وهذا یتضح من الشروط التی تضعها الولایات المتحدة فی مشاریع المساعدات التی تقدمها لسوریا، إذ تفرض على سوریا الانخراط فی سیاسة مشترکة مع إسرائیل، فضلاً عن الضمانات بعدم تهدید أمن إسرائیل کان الهاجس الأمریکی الرئیس الذی یرسم سیاستها تجاه سوریا، فضلاً عن ذلک فإن سیاسة الولایات المتحدة تجاه سوریا کانت محکومة بمسألة أخرى هی الخوف من التغلغل الشیوعی فی سوریا. وعمومًا؛ فإن الولایات المتحدة ترى فی الشیشکلی بأنه لیس موالی للغرب بشکل کامل، إلا أنه أکثر میلاً نحو الولایات المتحدة، وإن اختفائه قد یخدم المخططات والمصالح العادیة للغرب، فضلاً عن ذلک فإن الانقلاب الثانی الذی نفذه الشیشکلی فی التاسع والعشرین من تشرین الثانی سنة 1951 جاء منطلقًا من المشاریع التی کانت الولایات المتحدة ترید تمریرها فی المنطقة وعلى رأسها مشروع الدفاع عن الشرق الأوسط سنة 1951 الذی قام على أرضیة التصریح الثلاثی (البریطانی الفرنسی الأمریکی) فی السادس والعشرین من أیار سنة 1950. | ||||
