The study dealt with the topic of the geographical reality    of rural settlements in the administrative centers in Taif       Governorate in KSA The foundations for the classification of settlements in the study area were identified, which included urban growth patterns by area and included six patterns, according to the population size and they included five patterns and according to the urban pattern, which included five patterns and according to the number of housing which includes three patterns and according to the building material It included two patterns and according to economic activity It includes five patterns regarding the patterns of forms of rural settlements It included three patterns The research also covered service centers of gravity in administrative centers, which are health and educational services. The geographical setting of administrative centers in Taif Governorate is a reflection of the interaction of many factors, perhaps the most important of which are natural, economic and cultural controls.
