Abstract | ||||
Many factors are affecting the behavior of daylight in the built spaces. The context of these factors mainly fall into three levels, planning, landscape and building design. Considering planning level, latitude, site topology, building distribution and roads are the elements of the study. On the other hand, changing elements used the landscape surround the building have a strong effect on the behavior of the daylight inside building spaces. The building design level is deals with effect of characteristics of the built space, dimensions, colors, furniture, etc. It is a fact that we can’t deal with all these factors together in investigation the daylight behavior in the built spaces. In the scope of this paper, limitations are considered to focus on the factors affecting daylight behavior on the landscape level. Following and using of the deductive reasoning methodology, a case study has been carried out. Measurements have been taken inside seven chose built spaces in three different faculties in university of Assiut. In conclusion, paper findings were highlighted and particular recommendations were given. | ||||
