Abstract | ||||
During the writte of 1999-2000, in a farm in CHARbia governorate, 425 golves were examined and noticed for boulne respiratory disease (BRD) the epidemiology of the disease and the efficacy of olorfenicol and tilmlcosin in treating it were studied. Have been diagnosed with the disease in 104 hastily on the basis of the temperature rise of 40.5 m with the emergence of respiratory symptoms were treated for 53 hastily injected two doses of Filorvinicol intramuscular 20 mg / kg Behm 48 hours and treatment of 51 hastily injected Telmocousin subcutaneous single dose rate of 10 mg / kg of the weight of the calf has been follow-up calves treated for 28 days were taken swabs from infected calves and samples from the lungs of those who died or were slaughtered made an emergency landing during the study so as to isolate the microbe that causes as blood samples were taken from five calves from each group therapeutic to measure the level of each of the drugs and a range of Therapeutic . The results showed that the highest proportion of injury in the calves were in the age group of 3-6 months and that the microbe that causes the disease, which has been isolated and is pasteurellosis Alheimfalls Filorvinicol that the level in the blood lasts for 24 hours of the second dose level while continuing Allmocousin 72 hours .
