Abstract | ||||
Levels of both total serum protein and y-globulin were determined in 8 newborn camels from birth up to 30 days of age using cellulose acetate plate of protein electrophoresis technique .the overall mean total serum protein and y-globulin concentration were low at birth (8.08 and 0.14 mg/dl) and reached their peak around 24 hours (9.3 and 1.8mg/dl) respectively while colostral protein decrease in its content during the first day from 10.15 to 8.3 mg/dl the concentration of total protein and y-globulin in colostrums and milk were highly significant (p < 0.05)with those of serum of neonatal camels. | ||||
