Abstract | ||||
This paper investigates experimentally the behavior of axially and laterally loaded square reinforced concrete columns wrapped with CFRP sheets with and without sustained loading. The experimental work includes twelve large scale square columns with CTOSS section 200x200 mm and 2500 mm height. The parameters to be investigated are the percentage of sustained loads (40% and 80% of the ultimate load), and the lateral loads (equivalent to 5% and 10% of the axial load). The columns are kept loaded, until being tested up to failure under static axial compressive load in addition to the different values of the lateral loads. | ||||
