Abstract | ||||
The application of dispersed generation has a great attention nowadays due to its tangible Impacts on the operation of distribution networks, Photovoltaic array is a significant type of embedded resources. This paper presents an approach to enhance the economics of dispersed photovoltaic generators. A control strategy is proposed to extend the functionality of the electronic converter interface to serve as a versatlle power conditioner. Thereby, it can extract maximum power from the photovoltaic generator, eliminate harmonics, supply reactive power, suppress line current unbalance, and regulate the load voltage as ancillary tasks. This control algorithm is based on a hybrid synchronous reference frame-fuzzy logic scheme. The system performance is examined under a variety of operating situations and promising results arc obtained. | ||||
