Abstract | ||||
يتناول البحث الحالي آراء وتصورات الطلاب حول استخدام التعلم الإلکتروني في مؤسسات التعليم العالي، ولقد اعتمد الباحث على تصميم استکشافي متتابع کأحد صور المناهج المختلطة لشرح استخدام التعلم الإلکتروني بشکل کامل، ومن ثم فلقد اعتمد الباحث على البيانات النوعية والکمية لمعالجة مشکلة البحث، کما قام الباحث بإجراء مسح عبر الانترنت اعتماداً على "نموذج القبول التکنولوجي (TAM)" بعد التحقق من صدقه وثباته قبل الاستخدام، ولقد شارک في المسح مائة وخمسة وثلاثون طالبًا من کلية شرورة للآداب والعلوم بجامعة نجران في المملکة العربية السعودية، وفي وقت لاحق ، شارک أحد عشر طالبًا في مقابلات بؤرية، قام الباحث بفحص أنواع أنشطة التعلم الإلکتروني والعوامل التي تؤثر على استخدام الطلاب وتقبلهم للتعلم الإلکتروني؛ حيث وجد البحث أن تصور الطلاب لجودة الخدمة هو العامل الأکثر أهمية وتأثيراً على استخدام التعلم الإلکتروني، کما أکد الباحث على ضرورة حل مشاکل البنية التحتية لتکنولوجيا المعلومات من أجل تلبية احتياجات الطلاب بشکل أفضل من أجل تحسين نتائج عملية التعليم والتعلم. This paper analyses student views of e-learning usage in higher education. To fully explain e-learning usage, an explanatory sequential mixed methods design was utilised. Consequently, both qualitative and quantitative data were obtained to address the research problem. First, an online survey was developed based on the concept of Technological Acceptance Model (TAM) and validated prior to use. One hundred and thirty-five students from Sharourah College of Arts and Science, Najran University in the KSA, participated in the survey. Later, eleven students participated in focus-group interviews. Types of e-learning activities and factors influencing students’ usage and satisfaction were examined. The research found students’ perception of service quality to be the most significant factor influencing e-learning usage. A need to resolve IT infrastructure problems in order to better meet students’ needs and improve learning outcomes was identified. | ||||
