Abstract | ||||
Abstract: The current study aimed to present a proposed vision for achieving the strategic success of Egyptian universities by using the approach of entrepreneurial leadership, the study used the descriptive method to achieve its goal, indicating the intellectual framework of the entrepreneurial leadership and the reality of its application in Egyptian universities as well as the intellectual foundations for strategic success in university education. The study demonstrated also the distinguished experiences of some the world's leading universities in which the entrepreneurial leadership is implemented, and the study ended with the presentation of a proposed vision, which included its justifications, objectives, foundations, principles, determinants, features and implementation mechanisms, which include: commitment and support of university leaders to overcome resistance to change and ensure the success of the implementation of entrepreneurial leadership and the consolidation and dissemination of culture Entrepreneurship among all members of the university community and linking it to the strategic goals of Egyptian universities and performance results; Encourages creativity and innovation, developing awareness of the importance of implementing entrepreneurial leadership, and supporting research and development activities in order to support the continuity and growth, and then Egyptian universities to be one of the strategically successful entrepreneurial universities, and the study found out several obstacles to adopt entrepreneurial leadership that prevent the implementation of the proposed vision because of fear of some University leaders and the centralization over university performance, which deprives the university leaders of freedom of initiative, development and taking risk. | ||||
