Abstract | ||||
This paper presents a method to analyze the voltage stability as a dynamic phenomenon based on Transient Energy Function (TEF). The energy difference at equilibrium points is used to measure the proximity to voltage collapse. Problem to identify the set of unstable equilibrium points is solved through the Continuation Power Flow (CPF). Results are demonstrated in detail on the New England 10-machine 30-bus test system and the Egyptian Unified Power Network (EUPN), which is represented by 24-machine 107-bus. | ||||
