Abstract | ||||
This research aimed mainly to identify knowledge of extension workers how to get use of the plant wastes and the suitable extension communication methods to contact with farmers from their points of view. A special questionnaire was designed to obtain the field data to achieve the research objectives by interviewing 117 respondents from Dakahleia, Sharkia and Qalubia governorates. The most important findings of this research could be summarized as follows: - Most of the respondents were come in the category of medium knowledge level about making compost, piles by using either urea or ammonia gass, using mofeed liquid and making silage in the three studied governorats. - The research showed also that farm visit, T.V. and extension panels were come in first rank as suitable extension communication methods to contact with farmers from the respondents points of view. - The research indicated also that there was a positive correlation relationship at 0.05 level of significance between the respondents knowledge level as dependent variabie and both respondents working period in field of recycling plant wastes, the distance between the house where they live and their work place and training courses in field of plant wastes recycling. | ||||
