Abstract | ||||
This study was conducted to determine the perception degree of the agricultural extension held by the researchers at central laboratory for aquaculture research (as a whole, as an educational process, as an independent system, as a career, as a service and the agricultural extension objectives). Questionaire by personal meeting used to collect data from (44 researcher) who work in research-extension teams in Central laboratory for aquaculture research at Abbassa. Abo-Hammad, Sharkia governorate in April 2006. Frequencies, Percentages were used to present data. The main results of this study indicate that: — 81.8% of respondents of respondents have a high perception degree of the agricultural extension concept as a whole. - 84.1% of respondents have a high perception degree of the agricultural extension concept as an educational process. - 54.5% of respondents have a medium perception degree and 45.5% of respondents have a high perception degree of the agricultural extension concept as an independent system. - 88.6% of respondents has a high perception degree of the agricultural extension concept as a career. - 65.9% of respondents have a medium perception degree of the agricultural extension concept as a service. - 90.9% of respondents have a high perception degree of the agricultural extension objectives. | ||||
