Abstract | ||||
ABSTRACT Objective of this study to was to evaluate, clinically and radiogaphically, the effect of Turmeric and Aloe barbadensis mix as a capping material for primary teeth . Subjects and Methods: This study was carried out on 64 primary molars indicated for vital pulpotomy. The teeth was classified randomly into four equal groups according to material used in pulpotomy as follows 16 primary molars were capped using Formocresol, 16 primary molars were capped by Turmeric, 16 primary molars were capped with Aloe barbadensis and 16 primary molars were capped by Aloe barbadensis and turmeric mix . Result Formocresol was approximately (93.8%) success rate, the turmeric was approximately (87.5%) success rate , aloe barbadensis was approximately (81.3%) success rate and the turmeric and aloe barbadensis mix were approximately (87.5%) success rate and it considered good materials for pulpotomized primary molars. Conclusion The turmeric and aloe barbadensis mix considered good materials which were offers good clinical and radiographical results when compared with formocresol. | ||||
