The green two-spotted spider mite Tetranychus urticae Koch and the red spider mite T. cucurbitacearum (Sayed) were subjected to study to shed lights on their identity based on state of reproductive compatibility. However cross breeding produced fertile and normal hybrids for Fl and F2 in relation to egg laying capacity and sex ratio of the offspring.
