Abstract | ||||
The development of Egyptian exports is considered to be one of the top priorities that attract the largest share of the state’s attention in order to reduce the severe deficit in the Egyptian trade balance. Egypt ranks third in terms of comparative advantage of grapes exports, it was clear from the study of the geographical distribution of Egypt's grapes exports that UK market ranked first between its importing countries during the period (2004-2017). However, the study showed instability in the quantity and price of exported grapes during the period, such position of grapes export has risen to about 8.5% during the period (2011-2017). Egypt achieved the fifth rank in market index as the relative price advantage in Egypt compared to competing countries within UK market. The study examine factors effecting the quantity of grapes exports to the UK, the results showed that total import from other countries have an adverse effects an Egyptian exports to UK. The study recommends examination of competing grapes imports to the UK specially of their time and price in addition to their quantities. | ||||
