Abstract | ||||
Early studies that tried to measure the impact of trade openness on development found out the existence of positive relationship between the two. This paper attempts to investigate the impact of trade openness on per capita income, the case of Kuwait, as an empirical analysis. The results of this study indicates that there is a negative impact of trade openness on per capita income in Kuwait, and statically significant which indicates the existence of other variables other than the one under consideration that might have impact on per capita income, such as, income distribution structure of exports and trade restrictions, which deserve further studies in the future. | ||||
