| Abstract | ||||
| هدفت الدراسة الحالية المقارنة بين طلاب وطالبات الجامعة في التوافق الاجتماعي والثقة بالنفس بحسب التغير في اتقان لغة أجنبية (اللغة الإنجليزية) في مجتمعهم المحلي , وتکونت عينة الأدوات من (784) طالب وطالبة بهدف حساب الصدق والثبات لمقياسي الدراسة وهما التوافق الاجتماعي والثقة بالنفس , ثم تم أخذ عينة الدراسة (255) طالب وطالبة من ذوي الدرجات العالية في المستوى الأول والمستوى الثامن من قسم اللغة الإنجليزية بکلية العلوم والدراسات الإنسانية برماح لدراسة الفروق بين درجاتهم على المقياسين قبل وبعد اتقان اللغة الإنجليزية . وتوصلت الدراسة إلى وجود ارتباط موجب ذو دلالة إحصائية بين کل من التوافق الاجتماعي والثقة بالنفس , وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات الطلاب والطالبات على مقياس الثقة بالنفس بين الطلاب قبل اتقان اللغة الانجليزية, وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات الطالبات على مقياس الثقة بالنفس قبل وبعد إتقان اللغة الانجليزية . کما وجدت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات الطلاب على مقياس التوافق الاجتماعي قبل وبعد اتقان اللغة الانجليزية. وذلک باستخدام اختبار "ت" توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات الطلاب والطالبات على مقياس التوافق الاجتماعي بين الطلاب والطالبات قبل و بعد اتقان اللغة الانجليزية The current study aimed at comparing male and female students of the university in social consensus and self-confidence according to the change in mastery of a foreign language (English language) in their local community, and the sample of tools consisted of (784) male and female students in order to calculate the honesty and consistency of the study criteria, namely social adjustment and self-confidence, Then the study sample (255) male and female students with high grades at the first and eighth levels of the English Language Department at the College of Sciences and Humanities studies in Rumah to study the differences between their scores on both scales before and after mastering the English language. The study found that there is a statistically significant correlation between social adjustment, and self-confidence, and the absence of statistically significant differences between the averages of male and female students ’scores on the scale of self-confidence among students before mastering the English language, and the presence of statistically significant differences between the averages of female students’ scores on a scale Self-confidence before and after mastering the English language. There were also statistically significant differences between the averages of students ’scores on the social adjustment scale before and after mastering the English language. Using the "T" test, there are statistically significant differences between the averages of male and female students' scores on the social adjustment scale between male and female students before and after mastering the English language. | ||||
