Abstract | ||||
The current research aims at determining the reality of the faculty members' role in the colleges of Early Childhood Education in achieving media Literacy education of female students and the requirements for developing this role. For this purpose, the research followed the descriptive-analytical research approach,utilizing a questionnaire that was applied to a sample of(300) students(Fourth-year)in the Colleges of Early Childhood Education(Cairo, Mansoura, and El-Minia Universities)and an interview form that addressed to a sample comprised(20)media education experts of media education professors in the faculties of Specific Education and some Child Education Professors in the Early Childhood Education Colleges. The research revealed the following results: - The research sample agreed on the low level of the faculty members' role in Early Childhood Education Colleges in achieving media literacy education among female students. - There were statistically significant differences between the research sample in their vision of the reality of the faculty members' role in the Colleges of Early Childhood Education in achieving media literacy education among female students in favor of Mansoura University Students. - The research concluded with some requirements for developing the role of the faculty members in achieving media literacy education among early childhood students that were categorized into physical, professional, and technological requirements. | ||||
