Abstract | ||||
This research aimed at evaluating of mobile phone use in awareness developing of rural women’s in the motherhood care field at Shenno, Kafr El-Sheikh district. It was chosen in a simple random way, while Shenno was chosen systematically where the rural women in this village are counted to1941. A simple sample of 6% was chosen consisting of (121) respondents, divided into three groups to provide them with knowledge of motherhood care. Several statistical methods were used: frequencies, percentage, mean standard deviation, and (T), (F) tests, using SPSS V.16 software. The most important results are as follows: The increase in women's knowledge of motherhood care shows that the postpartum health care process is ranked first with an average of 55.6%, while it was before the mobile phones at 44.1%. It was followed by the process of health care during pregnancy with an average of 50.7%, while it was at 39.4% before. Then, the process of feeding pregnant women before and during childbirth with an average of 46.4%, while it was at 16.3%, whereas, the pre-marital health care process is ranked last with an average of 45.3%, while it was at 34.2% before. That indicates the role of mobile phones in increasing awareness of rural women about knowledge related to the 4 processes studied in the field of motherhood care. | ||||
