Abstract | ||||
By changing the packages on the warping Creel the doffed packages have a residual amount of yarns. These yarns were statistically analysed for a Benninger V - warping creel. Some different factors affect the amount of residual yarns such as: - adjustment of the maximum diameter for the package during winding process - adjustment of tension yarn-brake on the winding unit - degree of contact pressure between package and winding drum. - type of winding and its characteristics Some of these factors were measured and theoretically analysed. | ||||
