Abstract | ||||
An examination was made on the 20th of Augest 1986 of that part of El Bahr el sagheir where it is, recently, used as a source for drinking water. It was found that this water course could not satisfy the standards recomended for drinking waters with respect to heavy metal pollutants (Cr, Zn, Ag and Mn). On the other hand If satisfies the standards recomended for CI-1 SO4--, DO and PH. Recomendations to prevent the metal pollution of the water course are given. | ||||
