Abstract | ||||
This study was carried out at lab and greenhouse of soil and water research. Department, Nuclear research center (NRC), Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA) to study the effect irradiation using gamma rays at different doses on the chemical composition of compost produced from new leaves of leucaena plants and its effect on Canola plants growth and its uptake of some micronutrients under sandy soil conditions The Produced composts have a wide variations in their chemical compositions Applying irradiation techniques using gamma rays on the composted organic wastes increased compost quality. Applications composts produced from leucaena new leaves unirradiated and irradiated increased sandy soil productivity of canola plants and also increased plant content of N, P and K. | ||||
