Abstract | ||||
The aim of this study was to identify the Role of agricultural extension in rural women development in some villages of Ibb- province in Yemen by identifying the personal, social and economic characteristics of Rural Respondents in some villages of the province, and to identify the degree of awareness of Rural women about activities offered to them by Agricultural Extension, and find out the degree of benefit from those activities and attitude of Rural women toward those activity , then study the relationship between the perception and the degree of benefit of Rural Respondents from activities of agricultural extension, also this study aimed to identify the most important problems and obstacles that limit development of Rural women and Rural areas in general The study was conducted by using a random sampling technique involved a total of 200 respondents in some villages in Ibb-Government Yemen. Data were collected by using predesigned questionnaire, then data tabulated, and statistically analyzed using IBM personal computer with Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS), data were analyzed descriptively number and percentage, variance, Correlation and Regression analysis. The study show significant relationships between some of variables namely Age, Educational level, social participation and mass media. Training, participation, age and educational level these variables explain 31% of the variance of perception of rural women by using regression analysis. | ||||
