Abstract | ||||
The combination of a rigid-impulsed Inverter and a synchronous compensator for supplying an isolated AC load, is one of the moet economical solutions for adapting the raw electric energy supplied from a DO link. This system has an oscillating nature due to the lack of synchronisation between the air-gap rotating field and the rotor field inside the compensator machine. The resulting oscillations are actually too small but may lead to system in stability or inverter-failures, They are affected by the system paramters and the applied type of control, This paper presents the energy-loops as a helpful tool in predicting wheather a proposed system of such a structure will maintain stability or not. Thereby an optimal dimensioning of the system parameters can be ensured. | ||||
