Abstract | ||||
This research aimed to know the training needs of female teachers to discover the phenomenon of school bullying with female pupils with learning disabilities. To achieve the objective of the research, a descriptive survey approach was used by the researcher through designing a questionnaire of (22) items distributed over two dimensions, namely: cognitive needs and performance needs. After testing its validity and reliability, it was administered to a sample of (770) teachers of general education and learning disabilities, selected randomly from elementary schools in the Eastern Area, In the academic years 1442 AH. After analyzing the data statistically, a number of findings were revealed, most notably: 1- The level of training needs for teachers to discover the phenomenon of school bullying with pupils with learning disabilities posited the degree of ''agree'‘. 2- There were cognitive needs and performance needs for teachers to discover the phenomenon of school bullying with pupils with learning disabilities in that their responses to the dimension of ''cognitive needs'' posited the degree of ''agree'';. also There were no statistically significant differences at the level of/less than (0.05) between the attitudes of female teachers about the training needs of female teachers to discover the phenomenon of bullying with pupils with learning disabilities at the elementary education stage in the Eastern Area attributed to the variable of years of experience, and specialization, and Geographical location. Based on the findings, several recommendations were introduced, most notably: inclusion of everything that enhances the knowledge of general education teachers and teachers of learning disabilities in training programs at the elementary educational stage in bullying with pupils with learning disabilities. | ||||
