| Abstract | ||||
| This research deals with a study of some stelae in a distinctive and different form from the rest of the stelae that were prevalent in the Greek and Roman civilizations, which are medallions from the Roman province of Noricum, Austria, which the researcher had the opportunity to go there and photograph those pieces, because of their importance in the history of art. The subjects depicted on it varied between subjects of soldiers and military scenes or topics of daily life, by depicting different characters or scenes from the life of the deceased, such as scenes of farewell with the husband or wife and children, or the deceased in the form of a child, imitating the Egyptian god Hippocrates or intellectuals with papyrus scroll. which will add to our knowledge of that quality of Funerary objects, or the subjects depicted on them, and their role in Roman society at the time. | ||||
