Abstract | ||||
New metal ion complexes of ampicillin were synthesis by two steps, first by N-acylation with benzoyl chloride and sebacoyl chloride, In the second step, the prepared compounds were reacted with cupric ion to form Cu- complexes. FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, UV- visible, Elemental analysis, and, a theoretical study was used to distinguish the prepared complexes. The biological efficacy of synthesis compound was found more active against the bacteria. | ||||
