Abstract | ||||
Two types of Egyptian cotton, Giza 69 and Ashmouni, were blended with polyester staple fibre, Tetoron, at different blend ratios to produce yam counts 30, 50 and Ne 60 at five levels of twist multiplier. An experimental investigation Was undertaken to display the blending characteristics of Egyptian cotton/polyester blends. The effect of blend levels on optimum twist multiplier, strength characteristics, critical blend proportion and the other qualities of these yarns is analyzed. | ||||
