| Abstract | ||||
| This study is meant to be a Pragma-Stylistic analysis of Al Burdah Ode by Al Busiri, where the meaning of the text will be investigated in relation to the context of situation. The study also assesses three English translations of the Burdah, and pinpoints the different problems that translators of different culture encounter during the process of translation. Moreover, the study shows whether the translators managed to convey a similar perlocutionary effect on the target language reader. | ||||
