The study deals with the subject of the self-image of the poor rural woman, who works in the craft of wicker baskets in one of the villages of the Egyptian countryside, and aims to reveal how this vision is formed in light of the social and cultural reality of women, as well as highlighting the multiplicity of roles that she plays within the study community.
