Abstract
was enclosed within that fibrous cord. The wire piece and the iurrounding fibrous
cord was excised- The area NJ5 radicqraphed to ensure total exciaion ui the ioreign
body (Fig. 3). The wound was closed as usual. The animal was giyen the prophylactic
dose of anti-tetanic serum and postoperative course oi antibiotics. The akin sutures
were removed l'] days poatoperzitively.
