Abstract | ||||
The present investigation deals with the study of pore size of filter fabrics. Theoretical expressions are derived for calculating the pore equivalent diameter of woven, knitted and nonwoven filter fabrics. Experimental results were obtained by using a new simplified apparatus. This apparatus has been designed by the author on the base of bubble-pressure method. The derived relations were found to be fairly close to those observed experimently. | ||||
