Abstract | ||||
This research was conducted to investigate and assess some of the factors affecting the quality of concrete. Six hundred concrete cubes out of one hundred samples were taken from twenty different sites at different locations in El-Dakahlia governerate. They were tested in compression. Average compression strength values, the standard deviation and the coefficient of variation were computed and correlations were made. The study indicted that the human factor is very significant and the quality control in general is deficient and needs to be reviewed. | ||||
