Abstract | ||||
The object of this work was to study the influence of yarn surface finish on yarn tension during unwinding from package, the yarn tension was measured under the effect of different yarn characteristics such a - Double yarn - Bleached yarns - Dyed Yarn - Singed Yarns - Mercerized Yarns - Waxed yarns It was found that the value of yarn tension related to the characteristics of the yarn surface. In order to ensure that these results are correct the coefficient of frictions for these different were measured. | ||||
