Abstract | ||||
The origin, insertion, structure and relations of the muscles of the lateral and cranial aspect of the hip and thigh regions of the camel were completerly described. The obtained results were compared with those reported in other ruminant animals and the role of these muscles in locomotion was also discussed. | ||||
