Abstract | ||||
Serological evaluation of Poultry flocks for Mycoplasma gallise pticum infection in the area of the Upper Egypt was demons trated by using serum plate agglutination (SPA) together with microheamagglutination-inhibition (m H I), Growth precipi tation ( GP) and Growth-inhibition (GI) tests. A good correla tion was observed between GP, mH I, SPA and GI -tests for the early confirmation of M. gallisepticum infection in the examined flocks. Results indicated that the SPA test could be utilized for screening while m H I for more confirma tion. | ||||
