Abstract | ||||
This study done on sample of working women in Al-Karj during 1441-1442. The result were as following, 57% of the sample age between 18-25, 29.2% were 26-33, 11.5% were 34-41, and 2% of them were 42-49. The study indicate that 89.3% have Batchelor degree, 75.9% of them have a business, while 24.1% are employees in the government. 40.7% of the sample monthly income ranged between 2000-5000RS compered to the 35.6% monthly income were 5000-10000RS. 61.3% of the women were living in a fella and 88.2% of them have the Saudi nationality. When the awareness level measured there were some differences between the women in their definition of food awareness that balanced food is 51.4% is free from any toxic materials, 48.2% noncontaminated, 47.8% food rich in supplements, 28.5% rich in vitamins, 26.5% rich of water. When the frequency of using meals for the working women measured, in first grade for the snacks 51%, 58.5%, 46.6%, and 41.9% for every day then coffee, tea, and sweats in this order, while the usage of fruit, vegetables, fibres, and playing sport are in decline. Also, when identifying the source of the nutritional information and nutritional awareness it showed that 34.3%, 23.3%, 13.4%, 9.4%, 4.5%, 1.2% from the internet, moms, experience, TV shows, radio, relatives, and neighbours in this order. | ||||
