Abstract | ||||
This paper deals with the internal constituents of the buccal mass of the Egyptian Viviparid snail Bellamya uniclor. It is concerned with the functional morp < /strong>hology and taxonomically important characters of the two faws, dorsal buccal ridges, a p < /strong>ostradu lar ledge, odontophoral mass, radula and subradular organ. Such study may aid in the definition of the diagnostic characters of the species, genus and family to which the present snail belongs. Also it may provide additional evidence for the p < /strong>hylogeny of viviparids and mesogastropods. | ||||
