Abstract | ||||
This study aimed to identify satisfaction needs level to some rural youth(male and female), of community participation level to them, determine the relationship between rural youth satisfaction needs level and their community participation level, also determine the differences between rural male and female in satisfaction their needs, community participation level, Finally, identify the most important impediments to rural youth satisfaction needs. The study took place in Sharkeya Governorate, data were collected from Kafr- Salama village, The sample consisted of 200 cases. Frequencies, percentages, mean T-test, Pearson correlation were used as statistical techniques. The most important results of the study could be summarized as follows: 1- Regarding to satisfaction needs level to rural youth, the results indicated that more than half of the total respondents 54.5% satisfaction needs level was medium. 2- Concerning community participation level of rural youth, the results showed that more than half of the total respondents 52% community participation level was medium. 3- Person correlation showed that : a- Concerning the young men (male) category ,their was significant relation at 0.01 between total community participation and social relations with others,food security, and at 0.05 with knowledge and economic security, b- Concerning the young women (femal)category, There was a significant relation at 0.01 between total community and, social relations with others, knowledge, food security and at 0.05 with: belonging, economic security, health security. 4- T-test results showed that There was a significant differences between young women and men (femal and male) at 0.05 level in satisfaction needs level and a significant differences between them at 0.01 level in community participation level. 5- The important impediments to satisfaction of some needs for young men and women of the rural sample search was: spread of corruption in all of society, division, conflict between the spectra of society, lack of interest with capabilities of young people, low capacity of young people as a result of weakness educational levels, poor training and rehabilitation opportunities, As there was no suitable opportunities work within the village and most were seasonal work, The situation hospitals and clinics were very poor, and there wasn’t a safe place for treatment in the village in cases of difficult diseases, Finally, young women and men said that they do not feel safe on their property or on themselves, and not on their children, as a result of the absence of security and increased conflicts and bullying in the village. | ||||
